Privacy Policy
This section describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.
We use Your Personal data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Usage of Google User Data
The application uses Google OAuth 2.0 to provide a seamless "Sign in with Google" experience.
Data We Request
- Email Address: Used as the unique identifier for your account. This is the primary way we link your support history and settings to you.
- Basic Profile Info: We sometimes retrieve your name or profile picture URL to personalize your "Account Settings" page.
How We Use the Data
- Authentication & Access: To verify your identity and allow you to log in without needing a separate password.
- Communication: Your email address is used to send you important technical support updates, and notifications when a technician responds to an escalation.
- Personalization: We use your name to greet you within the "Account Settings" dashboard.
- Security: Authenticating via Google provides an additional layer of security for your account compared to simple email/password pairs.
Data Storage & Protection
- Email Storage: We store your Google email address in our secure database to maintain your chat history.
- No Password Storage: When using Google Sign-In, we never see or store your Google password.
- Data Sharing: We do not sell your Google user data to third parties. Data is only used to provide the requested support services.
Data Deletion
Users have the right to delete their data. Within the Account Settings, a user can request account deletion, which removes their email and associated chat history from our active records.
